Good fun and good value. Had mine for quite a few years.

I wasn t sure if it work with my Note 8 because when you look at it specs on the picture it only says Note 2. But it also says that it works with the Samsung S8 series and technically mine is in that series as a Note 8. So I think that s how they classify it. All I had to do is plug it in and it goes straight to the app. It asked me if I wanted to do a microscope of video, a picture, excetera. I have not tried it on my computer yet. But I m sure it ll work just as great. It s really easy to use just get closer or farther away for your distance. And then you just adjust the focus.

And for those people who don t read everything. I just want to state that it does not work on iPhones. And it states that it does not work on iPhones because Apple company block the data transfer for otgs. So this device is not for you if you own an apple.

It takes great pictures with the stand or without. It has a dimming function for the light. I was able to see my hair, my skin, and my baby Nemo fish that just hatched. Which is almost not visible to the eye. Also I looked at rotifers which are microscopic and you typically need at least a 400x to see. All you need to do is download the app.

I was pleasantly surprised by this camera.First of all, it was plug and play on my laptop. All I had to do was plug in the USB, open the camera, and I could start using it - no need to download software.Second, the picture quality is great! We tested it with a variety of different objects including clothing, food, and other surfaces. You have to experiment a little with where to place the camera for different magnifications, but nothing too cumbersome.Third, the camera has a built in light, which makes it easy to see anything under even the highest magnification.Overall, this is a great portable microscope. I plan to not only use it with my kids at home (toddlers), but in my high school science class.

The camera itself is great. Great quality, ability to zoom in and out great picture quality! I spend so much time looking at everything under the microscope!I just plugged it into my MacBook usb and opened photo booth and it worked, no software install needed. I really wished it worked on my iPhone/iPad but other than that, great buy, definitely recommend

I don t know what the real magnification of this scope is but it s pretty good. The great thigs is that it shows the pictures on your computer so you can capture them to a picture which is just what I needed. You d be hards pressed to find a microscope that will allow you to take picture of what you re looking at anywhere near this price. I use it for looking at electronics and it has more than enough magnification. The only real problem is the stand. While it works, adjusting it cause it to move so it s kind of a pain. A good stand would make this really great. If your trying to look at gearms and such I don t think this would be a good choice but for coins, stamps, electronics, etc. it s pretty good.

I have a lab microscope in my office, but was looking for something small and portable when I m traveling. This camera works great. I had to unscrew the plastic end piece when at full magnification in order to get the camera close enough to focus. But the image was very clear. I also love that the LED lights can be dimmed which is very helpful when trying to view reflective surfaces.I just plugged into my laptop and it worked right away. I m using a Win10 system and used the camera app. I didn t mess with the other app options since my needs are simple. I will either be sharing images over a video call or screen capturing images. The camera is small and very easy to travel with. I definitely recommend for anyone working on small electronics like I do.

This is a very nice microscope that can be easily used on a desktop with either a USB2.0 or it s USB-mini (the mini unfolds out of the USB2.0 plug) and there is an included adapter for connecting it to a USB-C port. The unit comes with a separate stand which gives the option of using it as a handheld, or with the stand. The photos are very good. It can be immediately used without installing any software if you use your PC s webcam software. You just switch the software camera device drop-down selector from webcam to the microscope (GL USB2.0 UVC Camera Device.) And the vendor s website has additional software and drivers for other applications and operating systems. It is a good microscope for school use: Middle school age and up for science projects or homework.

I set it up with my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop (using the build-in camera app, and the suggested "Amcap" app), as well as my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone (using the recommended OTG view app). Everything worked well. I was pleasantly surprised. On a piece of plain white paper, I started examining microprint on $20 bills, and some coins I had laying around. The next day, my son and I went for a woods walk and picked up a birdock seed, the kind with the tiny hooks at the end . I had a lot of fun using this product, and would strongly recommend it.

Much better than expected. Not certain how much magnification is achieved but with some practice one gets pretty good magnification. Definitely need a better holder/stand than the one provided. Had an issue with the first usb microscope received and got quick responses from vendor when I asked for help. Vendor offered to replace the device or provide a refund without me asking. Opted for the replacement and that replacement has worked without issues. 4 Stars for the microscope. It is a nice discovery toy and practical tool for my poor sight when troubleshooting electronics. 5 Stars for the vendor responsiveness and support.

This works with my laptop apple computer. I like to be able to look at Milkweed plants and Monarch butterflies (caterpillars and eggs) at different stages. The magnification is great! It worked fine. It is suggested that people raising Monarch butterflies check the leaves for the OE. Ophryocystis elektroscirrha (OE) is an obligate, protozoan parasite that is a huge problem for Monarchs. I think that this magnifier will be perfect for my use.

I raise butterflies as a hobby. I bought this digital microscope last year to help me ID eggs. I used it last summer as I was raising monarchs, skippers and grey hairstreaks. The picture quality probably could be better, but it works just fine for my needs.

The microscope camera works quite well. The resolution is only 640x480 but the image at that resolution isn t bad. Depending on the app, different resolutions are available through interpolation. By setting my phone to cast to my firestick I was able to present the microscopes view on a full screen TV which is great for a classroom while staying on a budget. I really like this device.

The driver/software install for the "Jiusion 40 to 1000x Magnification Endoscope" is a breeze, and I was connected and using it within minutes from unboxing. I have used it to inspect and repair bent CPU pins on motherboards, which is a far easier task to do with this scope vs. using a magnifying glass. The built-in snapshot (screenshot capture) and quick zoom buttons work great as well. The only minor complaint I have is with the fine adjust as it is quite sensitive, so getting things in focus isn t tricky really but you do need to have a soft touch to turn the focus mechanism only very slightly. The stand is flexible and adjustable so I am able to twist, turn and angle the scope easily. Overall, I m very pleased with the durability and ease of use of this scope especially at a very affordable price. I imagine I will find other uses for this scope, too, but for now I plan to hand make some sort of overhead contraption to retain the scope so I do not need to rely on the stand and be able to pan the camera around easily overhead what I m working on like a motherboard.

It takes a little practice to get a crisp, clear image(especially at high magnification), but the results are awesome. I spent an hour with it connected to my laptop, going on a fun journey in my growbox, getting cool close-up shots and seeing everything from a different perspective. After a while you ll just want to start looking at everything, even this most innocuous objects become crazy fascinating at high magnification. The adjustment wheel is marked at "40x" at one end and "1000x" at the other, with no indication of the settings in between. The center camera column in the middle of the camera has a little bit of play in it, so turning the wheel will make the lens of the camera move horizontally when you adjust it, making you lose your image. However, all of these little flaws are pretty negligible when you consider it s 37 bucks. If you desire pinpoint accurate magnification and durable, solid construction, you may want to spend some extra money; but if you just simply wanna look at stuff up close, with no extra frills or gadgets, pick this one up!

Very surpsied by how well it zooms in amd the quality for the cheap price. BIG FYI it comes focused for up close zooming but to adjust remove the plastic flash diffuser and then zoom so that you see the lense point out. You can then screw out and in to adjust the focal distance!!! This let me put the camera like a foot away and still zoom in on motherboards to do repairs and soldering. Its an awesome camera for the price

I love it, it s what you describe and it takes away all the hair you have left over. Very good recommended. I wasn t expecting much since it was just going to be cheap microscope for my daughter. We first started viewing dead bugs we found around the house and then we were able to see a live baby aphid on a plant stamen. The stem was already very small, so when we saw something even smaller wiggling around, we were very impressed with the quality.

Honestly when i got the endoscope my expectations were low However, after actually getting it, I am astounded at the quality of this thing... I have 0 issues with my Light however since they are LED I would assume leaving them on for a long period of time would probably cause damage to them, and possibly the endoscope so i make sure to turn it off when im not using it and unplug it when completed with coinroll hunting or circuit board repair.. For 37 dollars this is an exceptional tool and I couldnt be happier... The base is ok but at some angles the weight of the device will not hold, blame it on physics, im not sure what some of you expected for $37 but as far as the microscope goes it works amazingly and the software from the MiniCD works great for recording videos or taking snapshots... for snapshots you do have to configure the preferences in the amcap software before you can expect the button to work. It takes a little patience to adjust focus but once you figure it out you willl enjoy it too... I dont think it is really 1000x also, but once again. Idk what you expect for $37
